THE TEAMS WHERE YOU CAN SERVE

Hospitality Team, the team responsible for every area of welcome and comfort for those who come to visit The Gathering. This includes parking lot greeters, door greeters, welcome center attendants, refreshments, and farewell servants. Farewell servants are essential in encouraging visitors to return, we all know the value of a greeting but what about a good “see ya later!”

These are but a few of the tasks of this team, the basic goal is to make everyone feel welcome and to leave with the desire to get more deeply involved.Interested? email pastormike@gatherchurch.org .

The Technical Team will be responsible for all sound, graphic design, digital and video presentations, as well as production of CD and DVD recordings. This will require basic computer knowledge and what’s more, a deep conviction that multi-sensory worship celebrations are the most effective in today’s world. The team will be a primary set up and take down crew, however seating and welcome centers will be set up by Hospitality. For information email pastormike@gatherchurch.org

The Worship Design Team is crucial and will require special gifts and talents. This team will consist of a primary Director, the Worship Leader, the Pastor along with any others who may take part in teaching in worship celebrations, the leaders of both the Hospitality Team and the Technical Team, and at least two members at large who have a passion for the arts. The Kid’s Ministry Team will be responsible for providing staff for nursery care for every public gathering. The team will also be responsible for The Kid’s Gathering during worship celebrations. This will involve every age group from ages 1 to 12. Initially curriculum may be used that combines some age groups however eventually it will be necessary to provide age appropriate material for each. The need for a minimum of two adults for each group of kids and the fact that adults will have a need to participate in worship celebrations will require a large number of people on this team. The addition of a Youth Ministry Team will require the help of at least 2 dedicated and committed leaders. For information email Mike pastormike@gatherchurch.org

The Worship/Arts Team will be led by the Worship Leader. This team will consist of band members, drama, and graphic design. The music style will be contemporary consisting of current top chrisitan worship songs. For information email pastormike@gatherchurch.org

The Discipleship Team will provide growth opportunities for every one in The Gathering. Small group development begins day one. The team will provide resources, planning and guidance to all Small Gatherings as they have need. Within the fist year of launch the Discipleship Team conducted “40 Days of Purpose” with the entire Gathering followed by a strategic discipleship plan utilizing the Christian Life and Service Seminars.

Throughout the life of the Gathering the goal is to provide a variety of study materials and projects for all Small Gatherings. Groups will come together for many reasons; study, fellowship, sports events, common interests and hobbies, self improvement, family activities and much, much more.
