Greetings brothers and sisters in Jesus!
As we prepare to move into ministry with you here at The Gathering and Wagarville Beth and I are very excited.

Thankyou for the emails and cards of welcome. It is wonderful and comforting to know so many of you are praying

for us during this time of transition. We look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you and to help you

as you reach out to your communities in the name of Jesus.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 23:3 "I'll take over and gather what's left of my sheep,

gather them in from all of the lands where I have driven them. I'll bring them back

where they belong, and they'll recover and flourish." (the message)

The Gathering is a new church launched in Harrison, Michigan by the United Methodist

Church on April 9, 2006. A church not like any church you have experienced before,

The Gathering seeks to reconnect people with the God they love and may have wandered

away from. A church that seeks to help where help is needed. A church where relationships

are forged and strengthened, people of every age are welcome. A church where the music

speaks to the heart and is relevant to your soul. AND THERE'S NO DRESS CODE!!!

I'm privileged to be the pastor of this new beginning as we gather God's children. Maybe

you would like to be a part of something new. We are now gathering for worship every

Sunday at 11:15 am at 7425 N. Clare Avenue (Old 27), and beginning small group

gatherings in homes throughout the community. Check out The Game Plan page and if

you feel interested contact me at pastormike@gatherchurch.org and we'll get together. Maybe

you have several friends who might also be interested in a church where the music is up to

date and the relationships are real. Let's get together, invite them to your home and I'll come

and share the vision for the Gathering with them. We'll have pie! Pie is good!
