Our Purpose

To glorify God by sharing God’s grace and gather God’s people so that everyone may grow and give God’s gift to others.

The Gathering exists to GLORIFY God.

“O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3 (RSV)

The Gathering exists to tell everyone about God’s GRACE.

“The most important thing is that I complete my mission – the work the Lord gave me to do – to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.” Acts 20:24 (NCV)

The Gathering exists to GATHER God’s people.“You are a member God's very own family and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19 (LB)

The Gathering exists to GROW God’s people.

“…building up the church, the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity… until all become full GROWn in the Lord.” Ephesians 4:12b-19 (LB)

The Gathering exists to GIVE the gift of God’s love to the world.

“…to prepare God’s people for the work of ministry.” Ephesians 4:12a (LB)

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.” John 3:16 (Message)
