We are glad you have chosen to check out The Gathering’s website; and prayerfully hope you will chose to join us for Sunday Worship time or one of the other events you may find posted here. 

 

It is amazing sometimes how quickly the time passes; but when you are busy the time does seem to fly by. The Gathering is a very busy place with many people involved in doing The Lord’s work.  The people of The Gathering have made it their goal to make each visitor feel welcome, special, and loved. We strive as a fellowship to offer a safe place to seek Our Lord Jesus and to explore your relationship with Him.   I hope that you will join us on Sunday so we can share the Love of Jesus with you.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 23:3 “I’ll take over and gather what’s left of my sheep, gather them in from all of the lands where I have driven them. I’ll bring them back where they belong, and they’ll recover and flourish.” (The Message)

 

The Gathering is a new church launched in Harrison, Michigan by the United Methodist Church on April 9, 2006. A church not like any church you have experienced before, The Gathering seeks to reconnect people with the God they love and may have wandered away from. A church that seeks to help where help is needed. A church where relationships are forged and strengthened and people of every age are welcome. A church where the music is contemporary and speaks to the heart and is relevant to your soul. THERE IS NO DRESS CODE. Come as you are, but do come. 

 

I’m privileged to be the pastor in this new place, this new beginning,  as we strive to gather God’s children. Perhaps you are seeking something new to part of. We gather for worship every Sunday at 11:15 am at 7425 N. Clare Avenue (old 27), and are forming small group gatherings in homes throughout the community. Check out The Game Plan page and if you feel interested contact me at pastormike@gatherchurch.org and we’ll get together. Maybe you have several friends who might also be interested n a church where the music is up to date and the relationships are real. Let’s get together, invite them to your home and I’ll come and share the vision for The Gathering with you and them.
